The 3" HDPE DR17 Mortar Tube is a heavy-duty, plugged mortar tube designed for commercial display fireworks. Constructed from durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this professional display mortar is designed for compatible 3-inch commercial canister and ball shells.
Built from HDPE with a DR17 rating, this mortar provides the durability needed for professional display applications. HDPE is widely used for fireworks mortars because of its durable construction and ability to flex rather than produce the brittle fragmentation associated with unsuitable materials such as PVC.
With a 3-inch inside diameter, this mortar is designed for properly sized commercial display shells. The tube measures 18.125 inches overall with a 16.5-inch inside length, providing the dimensions needed for compatible 3" commercial canister and ball shells.
The bottom of the mortar features a 1.5-inch Southern pine plug secured by five 1-inch galvanized staples. The reinforced plugged base creates a strong, dependable mortar assembly when the tube is properly secured and used as part of an appropriate professional display setup.
This 3" HDPE mortar is intended for commercial display fireworks applications, making it a useful component for professional operators building, replacing, or maintaining mortar racks for aerial displays.
